Rugby Club Links

Year 7 & 8 pupils from Nicholas Chamberlain School, Bedworth and Ash Green School, Keresley will be participating in rugby coaching delivered from a professional instructor in order to encourage participation in rugby. Pupils from both schools will take part in a number of sessions based at their school followed by sessions that take place at the rugby club.
“For a lot of young people the thought of stepping foot in a rugby club where they may not know anyone is quite a daunting prospect. Our aim is to bring the rugby club to them, spark their interest in the game, and then, with their peers and the coach with whom they have been working, introduce them to a number of training sessions at the club.” commented Tim Warner of Educ8.
The project has been a combined effort involving the Northern Warwickshire School Sports Partnership, Extended Services (Bedworth Schools), and Educ8. Sport Unlimited funding is provided through CSW Sport
